Whats the difference between a paralyse person and a perfectly normal person? The answer is a paralyse person can do things which majority perfectly normal person cant do. Whats the reason behind this? The main reason is a paralyse person puts in twice thrice lots of lots of time effort more than a normal person does. They face the fact that they are paralyse. They know that no matter what how much tears they cry how much they scold, it will not change the fact they are paralyse. The only thing they know they can do is to prove to people they are still useful. Yeah, I really salute those paralyse people. Read up the newspaper and internet on those athlete who represented Singapore in the paralympics game in Beijing. Yeah, they did win. But the cash reward they got was not even half of what an athlete could get in the real olympics. 1 million for a gold in olympics. 100k for a gold in paralympics. This really irks me. How could they do this? In fact if I was the government, I will definitely give twice thrice the amount of money an athlete can get in the olympics. Why is this so? The reason is simple enough. I really respect them. Put yourself in a paralyse athletes's shoe, how much criticism how much gossiping you gonna face? Imagine a person who gossip about a paralyse and saying that he is no use to the world, he is jus a trash. How demoralising can it be? If this happens to me, I dont think I can take it. I might even think of ending my life. So it really sadden me when I read up news that the athlete could only get 1/10 of the prize money rewards. This is outrageous. But the main thing i wanna express to people is that I really respect and salute to those paralyse people especially those athlete who took part the paralympics. In my eyes, all of you are winners.
